Controversies regarding interest rate aside; NICASIA Bank revamps its Samunnati Saving to Premium Samunnati Bachat; range of freebies to benefit customers

NICASIA Bank (NICA) has launched a new saving product after the debacle of its recent Samunnati Saving product. The commercial bank has revamped its earlier product with a new name “Premium Samunnati Bachat Khata” with the new and attractive services attached with a view to provide competitive services to its account holders. Under this new scheme, a customer can opt to open Premium Samunnati Saving Account at any branch of the NIC ASIA Bank with a minimum deposit of Rs 1000. After the disastrous controversy regarding its earlier proposed interest rate, the bank this time is providing 8% interest which would be paid in a monthly basis. Apart from this, the account holders would be entitled to receive Rs 5 lakh worth of accident insurance, 50% discount in locker charge, free Debit/Credit card, free Demat and mobile banking.
