Cost Of Borrowings Increases For Wean Nepal Laghubitta Affecting Net Margins In Q3

Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) published its third-quarter report for FY 2078/2079 with a decline in Net Profit by 21.81%. As per the report published by the company, the net profit declined to Rs. 53.94 lakhs as compared to Rs. 68.99 lakhs in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The borrowings of the company increased by 18.41% (compared to the immediate previous year ending) to Rs. 70.51 crores. The company’s loans and advances have also increased by 19.99% (compared to the immediate previous year ending) to 88.79 crores.
The net interest income (core revenue) has declined by 7.93% to Rs. 3.22 crores compared to Rs. 3.50 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The paid-up capital of the company increased to Rs. 7.24 crores in this quarter and its reserve and surplus stood at Rs. 2.50 crores.
Its annualized earnings per share (EPS) stand at Rs. 9.93. The net worth per share is Rs. 134.60 and the company traded at a P/E multiple of 132.45 times.
