CPN-UML MP Demands Resignation of Deputy Prime Minister Over Disaster Management Failures

CPN-UML member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Achyut Prasad Mainali, has called for the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.

MP Mainali criticized Lamichhane for his inadequate response to natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and inundations, and for failing to implement an effective plan to address these emergencies.

Speaking during the emergency hour of the HoR, Mainali highlighted that 67 people have died from these natural disasters within the past month.

Additionally, Mainali called for free medical treatment for those injured in these calamities.
