Daily Summary: NEPSE Loses 15.82 Points and Closes at 2,032.34; Rookie IPO Stock ULBSL First Red Day After Being Traded

The NEPSE index closed at 2,032.34 today after losing 15.82 points from last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.77%. The index had lost 14.64 points on Friday.

The index opened at 2,049.31, and the intraday highest is 2052.35. It then made intraday low at 2027.81 and closed at 2,032.34.

230 scrips traded hands via 20,774 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,920,705 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 99.8 Crores in the turnover amount.

Sanima Bank Limited (SANIMA) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.01 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 280. The shares of Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) traded the most.

Balephi Hydropower Limited (BHL) gained highest 9.99% and hit the positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (MLBS) lost the highest -5.40% today.

All sector indices closed red, “Life Insurance Sector" lost the highest 1.44% while "Others Sector" lost the least 0.10%.
