Daraz Nepal Hosts Seller Summit 2024, Honoring Top Sellers and Celebrating E-Commerce Growth

Daraz Nepal hosted its Seller Summit on October 24th in Lalitpur’s Heritage Garden, themed “Empowering Sellers, Facilitating Growth.” The event celebrated sellers who drive Daraz's success.

Honorable Abdul Khan, Chairperson of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee, highlighted the need for legislative focus on e-commerce, including the forthcoming E-commerce Bill. Daraz Nepal’s Managing Director Aanchal Kunwar praised sellers' efforts, emphasizing their role in the platform’s growth.

The summit recognized 18 standout sellers, with awards like "Seller of the Year 2024" going to MuscleBlaze and Cetaphil, and other category awards honoring sellers across FMCG, fashion, electronics, and lifestyle sectors.

Daraz reiterated its commitment to supporting sellers with innovative tools and fostering growth within Nepal’s e-commerce landscape. Founded in 2015, Daraz operates in five South Asian countries, providing e-commerce, logistics, and financial services to 500 million people.
