Deadline Extended for 1:1 Right Offering of Dordi Khola Hydropower Company

Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited (DORDI) has extended the deadline for its ongoing rights offering. Initially opened on 19th Chaitra, 2081, the issue was scheduled to close on 8th Baishakh, 2082. However, as per the latest notice, the rights offering will now remain open until 14th Baishakh, 2082.
The company will be issuing 100% right shares worth Rs. 1.05 Arba through the issue of 10,542,604 (1: 1) units of right shares to its existing shareholders. The company's current paid-up capital is Rs. 1.05 Arba. After adjusting the proposed right share, which is 1.05 crore units, the paid-up capital will increase to Rs. 2.10 Arba.
According to the CDSC, 68,592 applicants applied for 51,72,693 units of right shares, equivalent to Rs. 51.72 crores. This data is as of 5 pm yesterday.
Sanima Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this rights issue.
The book closure date was 15th Falgun. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are eligible for the rights offering.
