Demise of industrialist- Mr. Ramesh Gupta; Loss for the whole industry

Industrialist; Ramesh Gupta’s death on 2^nd April, 2018 has saddened the industry. Gupta had been suffering from brain tumor since one and half year. He got aware about his disease on his visit to USA about one and half year ago. Gupta had undergone treatment in USA after his first encounter with the disease and returned back to Nepal. After his return, he saw significant improvement in his health and participated in several business activities and several commercial events. Due to his deteriorating health, Gupta was again taken to Norvic Hospital.  However, his health saw no improvement and thus, Delhi was the last resort for Gupta. Ramesh Gupta died during his treatment in Delhi. Ramesh Gupta started his journey through a trading firm and later shifted into industry sector. He worked in several positions such as vice chairman of Lucky Group, Chairman of Nepal Life Insurance and Director of Shivam Cement.Gupta had engaged in Nandan Ghiu Industry and also remained the director of Shivam Cement. He played a crucial role in introducing Chinese Hongshi FDI (Chinese Cement).
