Deputy Prime Minister Raghubir Mahaseth Appointed Acting Prime Minister
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Raghubir Mahaseth, has been appointed as the Acting Prime Minister. This decision was made by President Ram Chandra Poudel, following the recommendation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Prime Minister Dahal departed for New Delhi on Sunday afternoon to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He is scheduled to return to Nepal tomorrow.
