Dhaulagiri Laghubitta (DLBS) to Merge with Khaptad Laghubitta (KLBS); Share Trading of Basic Shareholders Suspended

Dhaulagiri Laghubitta and Khaptad Laghubitta have inked a merger agreement.
Owning to their merger agreement, the share transactions of Basic shareholders of Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) and Khaptad Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (KLBS) shall be withheld as decided on 18th Mangsir 2079.
Suman Prasad Shrestha and Ishwar lal Raj Bhandari signed the merger agreement on behalf of Khaptad and Dhaulagiri, respectively and Mr. Ishwar lal Raj Bhandari will serve as the company's chairman.
Both of these companies recently conducted initial public offerings (IPOs), and DLBS listed 10.31 units of its IPO shares and KLBS listed 4 lakh units of its shares on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).
The total paid up capital of DLBS is Rs. 10.31 Crores whereas the same of KLBS is Rs. 4 Crores. After the merger, the company’s total paid-up capital will reach Rs. 14.31 Crores. Likewise, the Last Trading Price (LTP) of DLBS and KLBS is Rs. 292.60 and Rs. 369, respectively.
