Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Closing Issue of 1: 1 Right Shares from Today

Dordi Khola Hydropower Company Limited (DORDI) is closing the issue of a 1:1 ratio of right shares to its shareholders at a par value of Rs. 100 from today i.e., on 8th Baishakh, 2082. The issue opened on 19th Chaitra, 2081.
The company will be issuing 100% right shares worth Rs. 1.05 Arba through the issue of 10,542,604 (1: 1) units of right shares to its existing shareholders. The company's current paid-up capital is Rs. 1.05 Arba. After adjusting the proposed right share, which is 1.05 crore units, the paid-up capital will increase to Rs. 2.10 Arba.
According to the CDSC, a total of 66,275 applicants applied for 46,97,018 units of right shares, equivalent to Rs. 46.97 Crore. Despite this substantial interest from the applicants, the issue was only subscribed to by only 44.55% of its total offering.
Sanima Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue manager for this rights issue.
The book closure date was 15th Falgun. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are eligible for the rights offering.
