Due to Postage Bills Facilities Time Over, Net Profit of Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Declines by 17.41% for Q3; EPS at Rs. 18.06

Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) has posted a decline in net profit by 17.41% in the third quarter (Q3) of the current FY 2079/80. The profit decreased to Rs. 6.68 crores in this quarter from Rs. 8.08 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
RURU has sales revenue worth Rs. 11.72 crores, which has declined by 11.26% in this quarter. The company states that the revenue as well as the net profit has declined due to postage bills facilities time over.
The administrative expenses of the company has increased by 14.27 %, to stand at Rs. 79.27 lakhs for the third quarter of FY 79/80.
Its reserve fund stands at Rs. 15.7 crores with share capital at Rs 49.33 crores. Its annualized earnings per share stand at Rs. 18.06. The net worth per share at Rs 131.95.
Management Analysis:
The direct impact has been caused on electricity production due to occasional problems in 33 K.V. transmission line of NEA.
No incident or situation has been seen to adversely affect the financial condition of the company. However, problems in machinery equipment, floods, landslides, and natural disasters (out of control) can have an impact on business. In case of the other functions, they are going according to the business plan of the company.
