Embassy of Nepal in Beijing Hosts "Nepal Sales Mission 2024: Gandaki Province" to Promote Tourism

The Embassy of Nepal in Beijing, in collaboration with the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) of Gandaki Province, hosted a significant tourism promotion event titled "Nepal Sales Mission 2024: Gandaki Province" on Monday. This event aimed to foster networking among tour and travel operators from Nepal and China, as stated in a press release by the Embassy of Nepal in Beijing.
In his welcome remarks, the Ambassador of Nepal to the People's Republic of China, Bishnu Pukar Shrestha, underscored the key tourist attractions of Nepal. He encouraged participants to collaborate in making the upcoming Visit Nepal Year 2025, a joint initiative by Nepal and China, a resounding success. The Ambassador emphasized the importance of building networks to enhance tourism cooperation between the two countries.
NTB Senior Officer Kundan Sharma Mishra delivered a presentation during the event, promoting Nepal as a premier tourism destination with a particular focus on Pokhara, recently declared the tourism capital of Nepal. Additionally, NATTA President Hari Ram Adhikari and member Khim Bahadur Nepali highlighted Nepal's vast tourism potential in their statements.
The event concluded with an interactive B2B session, attended by approximately 150 participants, including Nepali and Chinese tour and travel operators, businesspersons in the tourism sector, and media representatives.
