Empowering Youth: Fighting Drug Addiction through Awareness and Action

Hope Foundation Nepal, in collaboration with Mira Rai Initiative, is hosting a 5 km travel race on Ashadh 22, 2081. Rajiv Thapa, President of Hope Foundation, highlighted that the primary goal of this event is to raise awareness about drug addiction and promote a healthy lifestyle. Participants can register freely in the student category, and winners stand to receive a cash prize of NPR 50,000.

During a ceremony in Kathmandu, Mira Rai emphasized the importance of such programs nationwide to educate the public and protect youth from drug addiction. Other speakers stressed the need for similar initiatives at the village level and called for national-level awareness campaigns by the government to combat this issue effectively.
