Expert Speaks: How will the appointment of new governor affect share market?

ShareSansar, March 22: Mr Badri Prasad Pyakurel, the head of NIBL Capital, said there will not be any significant changes just because a new governor has been appointed. He said at least, there won’t be any long term effect. “Any changes in the market based on rumor will only have short term effects and a handful of people will try to take advantage of the situation,” said Mr Pyakurel. Mr Bishnu Tripathi, an investor, said that the appointment will have positive impact on the share market. “As per Mr Tripathi, NEPSE will most likely see growth,” he said. Mr Rajendra Maharjan, another investor, said that the new appointment won’t bring much changes to the market. According to him, Mr Chiranjibi Nepal had been the chairman of SEBON and during his tenure no remarkable changes were seen in the share market. “In my view, the news won’t have such positive effect on the share market,” he said.
