I think the market will be in consolidating mood this week and there are several reasons behind it.
Firstly, there has been no progress in commitment made by the major political parties to prepare first draft of the new constitution and the recent Supreme Court interim order not to implement the 16-pt pact among four major political forces has also made the situation more confusing.
Secondly, the market usually goes down in the month of Ashad because of loan repayment and interest payment.
Lastly, long term investors are waiting for the companies to publish 4th quarter report to know about their financial position.
NEPSE index would be seen in consodilating mood this week unless some extraordinary events take place.
