Sun, May 31, 2015 12:00 AM on Experts Speak,
Krishna Prashad Khanal, an investor We need to look at the performance of the market this week to know the trend. A lot would depend on how the market closes this week. My guess is that the market would hover around 750 points. To investors, I would say that it is not the correct time to sell shares. Big investors are pushing small investors to sell their shares. The government is considering channeling funds from 2-3 companies into the market to ensure that small investors don’t drown. We need to wait till the fourth quarter reports come out to see how the market will unfold. Only after that any decisions on selling shares should be made. I still think the future of the share market is good. Bishnu Tripathi, an Investor I the effect of the disaster will be seen on the market till the first quarter of the coming fiscal year. There is still more than six months to go. I would like the investors to save cash and wait till companies start publishing fourth quarter reports to know about the financial position of the companies. We still don’t know the actual damages and the condition of the listed companies. The market usually goes down in the month of Ashad because of loan repayment and interest payment. The market would go down till the second week of Shrawan but it won’t go down by much points.
