On September 22, 2024, Nepal's gold market reached a new milestone with significant price hikes.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold soared to Rs. 1,58,800 per tola, an increase from Rs. 1,57,100 per tola the previous day.

Tejabi gold also saw an upward trend, now valued at Rs. 1,58,100 per tola, a jump of Rs. 1,700 from the previous day's Rs. 1,56,400 per tola.

This sharp rise comes after a recent peak in fine gold prices on September 16, 2024, when it hit Rs. 1,57,300 per tola, reflecting the market's ongoing volatility.

Similarly, silver prices have risen by Rs. 5 per tola, now priced at Rs. 1,920, compared to Rs. 1,915 per tola the day before.
