Extraordinary Surge: Gold Prices Reach All-Time High in Nepal

Gold prices have surged to a historic peak in the Nepalese market, driven by a remarkable one-day jump of Rs. 2,000.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, fine gold is currently being traded at Rs. 1,64,400 per tola, exceeding yesterday's rate of Rs. 1,62,400 per tola.

Tejabi gold also experienced an increase, rising to Rs. 1,63,700 per tola from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,61,700 per tola.

This rise marks a significant milestone for gold prices, following the earlier record set on October 18, 2024, when fine gold reached Rs. 1,62,400 per tola.

In contrast, silver prices have increased by Rs. 30 per tola, now priced at Rs. 1,980 per tola, up from Rs. 1,950 per tola the previous day.
