Fall in NAV and Net Profit of Citizens Mutual Fund 1 and Citizens Mutual Fund 2 in Falgun

Citizens Mutual Fund-1 (CMF1), a 7-year closed-end mutual fund scheme has published its monthly report for the month of Falgun, 2079.
As per the report, a mutual fund has reported a fall in Net Assets Value (NAV) to Rs. 9.18 from Rs. 9.49. The scheme which began with a fund size of Rs. 82 crores have invested Rs. 48.67 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 2.48 crores in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs. 4.75 crores in fixed return assets, Rs 15.75 crores in debentures, and Rs. 2.30 crores in the bank balance.
It has reported a net profit of Rs. 34.87 Lakhs till Falgun. The fund had reported a net profit of Rs. 2.88 crores in the month before that.
Citizens Mutual Fund-2 (CMF2) is CBIL Capital Limited's second mutual fund scheme and is a 7-year closed-end fund. The scheme has published its NAV report for the month of Falgun, 2079.
As per the report, the NAV has slightly fallen to Rs. 9.92 till Falgun’s end which was 10.33 a month ago. The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs. 56 crores has invested Rs. 38.44 crores in the shares of listed companies and Rs. 2.32 crores in non-listed shares. This scheme has invested Rs. 50 lakhs in fixed return assets, Rs 9.69 crore in debentures, and Rs. 5.05crores in the bank balance.
It has reported a net loss of Rs. 56,320 till Falgun’s end. Whereas, in the month before that a net profit was Rs. 2.26 crores of this fund.
