Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel Attends World Bank and IMF Annual Meetings in the US
Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has arrived in Washington, D.C., to participate in the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Upon his arrival at Dallas International Airport, he was welcomed by Kumarraj Kharel, the Charge d'Affaires of the Nepali Embassy in the United States, along with embassy officials.
During the meetings, Minister Poudel is expected to deliver a key speech addressing global financial issues and economic cooperation. He will also hold separate discussions with his counterparts from various countries, as well as senior officials from the World Bank and IMF, to explore avenues for collaboration.
In addition to these engagements, Minister Poudel is set to meet with American entrepreneurs and members of the business community to discuss investment opportunities and strengthen economic ties between Nepal and the United States. These discussions are aimed at fostering closer business relations and encouraging investment in Nepal.
