The tenure for the Finance Minister, Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada has been fixed for 2 years. The lottery held on Monday in the National Assembly has decided the tenure of the Finance Minister.
After the expiry of 2 years, he will no longer remain the member of National Assembly and automatically will no longer remain the Finance Minister.
Dr Khatiwada was nominated as a member of the National Assembly by the former CPN UML.
