Fine Gold Price Risen by Rs. 2,300 per Tola in Nepalese Market: Silver Down by Rs. 30

Today, there has been a notable surge in the price of the highly sought-after yellow metal, with a rise of Rs. 2,300 per tola compared to yesterday's rates.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 1,40,500 per tola, marking a significant increase from yesterday's Rs. 1,38,200 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold is currently priced at Rs. 1,39,800 per tola, reflecting a rise of Rs. 2,250 from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,37,550 per tola.

The peak price for fine gold was recorded on May 20, 2024, reaching Rs. 141,800 per tola.

In contrast, the price of silver has seen a slight decline of Rs. 30 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,900 per tola, down from yesterday's figure of Rs. 1,930 per tola.

While domestic market prices continue their upward trajectory, global dynamics remain influential, with the latest international figures indicating gold trading at $2,325.80 per ounce, while the global silver price has decreased to $31.35 per ounce.
