Fine Gold Price Spikes by Rs. 1,800 per Tola, Silver Follows Suit with 40 Rupee Gain
The price of the highly sought-after yellow metal has risen by Rs. 1,800 per tola today compared to yesterday's rates.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price for fine gold is Rs. 1,47,800 per tola, showing a significant increase from the previous day's Rs. 1,46,000 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have climbed to Rs. 1,47,100 per tola, reflecting an increase of Rs. 1,800 from the previous day's price of Rs. 1,45,300 per tola.
On July 17, 2024, fine gold reached a peak of Rs. 149,800 per tola, highlighting the volatility in the precious metals market.
Meanwhile, the cost of silver has also risen by Rs. 40 per tola, with the new price now set at Rs. 1,780 per tola, up from the previous day's Rs. 1,740 per tola.
