Fine Gold Price Spikes by Rs. 800 per Tola, Silver Follows Suit with 5 Rupee Gain
The price of gold, a highly coveted asset, has increased by Rs. 800 per tola today, reaching Rs. 1,53,100 per tola. This marks a notable rise from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,52,300 per tola.
As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Tejabi gold prices have also risen to Rs. 1,52,400 per tola, up from Rs. 1,51,600 per tola the day before.
On August 21, 2024, the price of fine gold peaked at Rs. 1,53,000 per tola, underscoring the volatility in the gold market.
Silver prices have also seen an increase, rising by Rs. 5 per tola to Rs. 1,855 per tola, up from Rs. 1,850 per tola previously.
While domestic gold market trends are on the rise, global economic factors continue to influence prices. Currently, the international gold price stands at $2,509.50 per ounce, with silver priced at $29.75 per ounce.
