Likewise, five workers have been stuck in the construction site due to flood. They narrowly escaped the tragic incident by holding iron-made pole located in the mid part of the rivulet.
The workers could not move to the safer places when the swollen rivulet was flowing everywhere.
A team deployed from the Area Police Office Gajuri to the area for rescue operation was also facing a hard time to reach the site.
According to the District Police Office, the rescue team was also stranded on the way when the rivulet nearby Malekhu was eroding the trail road leading to Talti.
Locals and police team based in Talti however are putting their efforts to rescue the workers.
Flood has taken away some of the structures of the factory. Loss incurred by the monsoon rain induced disaster is yet to be ascertained.
