Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba Departing for Official Visits to Canada, USA, and Qatar Today

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba is set to depart for Canada on Monday evening to participate in a two-day meeting of women foreign ministers in Toronto.

Co-hosted by the governments of Canada and Jamaica, the event will take place starting Thursday. Minister Deuba is expected to address the gathering during her visit. Following her engagement in Canada, Dr. Deuba will join the Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on September 21. Afterward, she will represent Nepal at the Asia Cooperation Dialogue summit in Doha, Qatar, before returning to Kathmandu on October 4.
