Forward Laghubitta Calls AGM on Poush 30, When's the Book Closure for 30% Dividend?

Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) has called its 10th AGM on 30th Poush, 2079. The meeting will be held in the Dinesh Choudhary Smriti Pratisthan, Sunsari, starting at 1 PM.

Among the other agendas, the AGM will endorse a 30% dividend for the fiscal year 2078/79. The meeting of the board of directors held on Poush 04 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 84.44 Crores. A 5% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 4.22 Crores and a 25% bonus dividend worth Rs. 21.11 Crores have been proposed.

Furthermore, there is an agenda to endorse the auditor's report with PL statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports and appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2079/80. The meeting will also elect a director from the promoter shareholding group.

The book closure date is on Poush 17. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
