Foundation Stone Laid for Bunwakhola Motorable Bridge in Khotang

Construction has begun on a motorable bridge over Bunwakhola, connecting Jantedhunga and Barahapokhari rural municipalities in the Khotang district. Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development and Health, Bupendra Rai, officially laid the foundation stone for the project on Thursday.

The bridge, with an estimated cost exceeding Rs. 175 million, will span 148 meters. Once completed, it is expected to significantly enhance connectivity for the southern region of Khotang district, including Diktel and Khotang Bazaar, benefiting local residents and improving transportation infrastructure along the Chisapani-Devisthan-Mainatar-Pauwasera route.
