Gandaki Provincial Level Interbank Futsal Tournament Concludes in Pokhara

The Gandaki Provincial Level Interbank Futsal Tournament (Fifth Edition)-2081, organized by the Nepal Rastra Bank Employees Union Pokhara Committee, concluded successfully in Pokhara. The tournament featured 47 teams, including 30 men's and 17 women's teams from various banks and financial institutions in Gandaki province.

Held at the Sportscastle futsal ground on Ashwin 17-19, the event welcomed Krishna Prasad Kharal, Secretary General of the Nepal Rastra Bank Employees Union Central Committee, as the chief guest. In the women's final, Nepal Rastra Bank triumphed over Nabil Bank with a score of 1-0.

The men's final ended in a 1-1 draw between Everest Bank and Agricultural Bikas Bank. Individual awards were presented as follows: Manisha Kunwar (best player), Binita Parajuli (highest scorer), and Kusum Saru Magar (best goalkeeper) represented the women's group. For the men's tournament, Jivaraj Bam (best player), Suresh Thapa (top scorer), and Subash Kafle (best goalkeeper) were recognized.

The prize distribution ceremony featured notable attendees, including Bina Dhakal Paudel, Director of Nepal Rastra Bank Pokhara, and other prominent figures from the bank and the Bankers Association. Arjunraj Tiwari, president of the Nepal Rastra Bank Employees' Association Pokhara Committee, presided over the event, with Jitendra Raj Shakya serving as the moderator.
