Garima and Mahalaxmi Bikas Banks Introduce 3D Secure ACS for Safer E-Commerce Transactions

Garima Bikas Bank and Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank have integrated with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) under its EFT Services to introduce the 3D Secure ACS service for secure online transactions. This feature enhances authentication and fraud protection for cardholders, who must activate it on their bank-issued cards.

NCHL provides various card-related services to multiple banks and is expanding its system for interoperable transactions. Alongside Garima and Mahalaxmi Bikas Banks, other major banks such as Citizens Bank, Global IME Bank, and Siddhartha Bank also use NCHL’s EFT Services.

Garima Bikas Bank has over 175,000 cardholders and 50 ATMs, while Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank serves more than 135,000 cardholders with 49 ATMs across Nepal.
