Garima Bikas Bank Concludes 18th Annual General Meeting, Announces 5% Cash Dividend and New Board Appointments

The 18th Annual General Meeting of Garima Bikas Bank Limited was held on January 13, 2025, at Hotel Pokhara Grand in Pokhara. The meeting unanimously approved all proposals, including a 5% cash dividend (including tax) for shareholders, along with the annual report for FY 2080/81.

The meeting also elected six directors: three representing founder shareholders, Mr. Dilip Pratap Khand, Mr. Shyam Prasad Basyal, and Mr. Dipendra Shrestha, and three representing general shareholders, Mr. Bimal Pandey, Mr. Sobha Kanta Dhakal, and Ms. Aayushma Koirala. Following the meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Dilip Pratap Khand as the chairman.

The bank's paid-up capital is Rs. 5.685 billion, and shareholders will receive the cash dividend by January 1, 2025. The bank operates 123 branches, 1 extension counter, and 50 ATMs across Nepal, offering safe and quality digital banking services.
