Ghatasthapna fails to bring prosperity in the market; NEPSE lndex loses 4.66 points and closes at 1125.14 points

On the first trading day of the week, the market lost 0.41% or 4.66 points. The benchmark index closed at a low of 1125.14 points. The turnover was worth Rs.24.14 Crore achieved through trade of 924,190 units of shares traded through 4,124 transactions trading scrips of 156 listed companies in the process.
Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) posted the highest turnover today at Rs.3.36 Crore with LTP of Rs.259 per share. Promoter Shares of Bank of Kathmandu Limited (BOKLPO) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 140,000 units of shares. The LTP of the scrip stands at Rs.147 per share.
Ankhu Khola Jalavidhyut (AKJCL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 3.77% or 2 points and closed at Rs.55 per share. Himalaya Urja Bikas Company (HURJA) was today’s top loser as it lost 8.03% or 9 points and closed at Rs.103 per share.
Sensitive Index lost 0.98 points and closed at 246.33 points while Float Index lost 0.31 points and closed at 83.26 points.
Development Banks and Others were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
