Global IME Bank Collaborates with Austria’s University of Dunaújváros on Building Energy Efficiency in Nepal Project

Global IME Bank has signed a collaboration agreement with Austria’s University of Dunaújváros to implement the Building Energy Efficiency in Nepal (BEEN) project. The agreement aims to promote sustainable housing solutions in Nepal through financial support from the European Union.

The partnership was formalized during a ceremony attended by key figures, including Global IME Bank’s Head of Department, Mr. Ashim Karmacharya, Segment Manager-IPF & Sustainable Financing Unit, and Dr. Daniel Neyer, head of the BEEN project. The bank has been actively promoting green housing through its "Green Home Loan" initiative, which supports the development of sustainable housing projects.
