Global IME Bank organizes interaction event with NRNs in Seoul; in process to open new foreign office in South Korea

Global IME Bank and Global Money Express have jointly organized an interaction in Seoul of South Korea urging Nepalese ex-pats from South Korea to bring in investment to Nepal and informing them about bank’s ongoing program to open a new branch there.

The event was addressed by Finance Minister Mr. Janardhan Sharma, chairman of the bank Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal, chairman of South Korean National Assembly Mr. Li Sangen, CEO of the bank Mr. Ratna Raj Bajracharya, as per the media statement.

The event saw a discussion on the investment opportunities in Nepal, the investment portfolio IME Group has been building with NRNs in Nepal and the current necessity of bringing in more remittances via formal banking channels to ease the foreign reserve of the nation, as per the media statement.
