Global IME Bank Promotes Financial Literacy Nationwide

Global IME Bank Limited has conducted an extensive financial literacy program across its 233 branch offices as part of its corporate social responsibility. The program targeted diverse groups including farmers, micro, small, and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, laborers, students, women, remittance recipients, and local youth across all seven provinces of Nepal.

Specifically, the bank organized programs with over 35,000 participants in various provinces: 3,500 in Koshi, 2,200 in Madhesh, 15,000 in Bagmati, 5,500 in Gandaki, 6,000 in Lumbini, 500 in Karnali, and 2,500 in Far West. Additionally, Global IME Bank promoted financial literacy and digital banking through its branches in 77 districts.

The bank, known for its expansive service network including 354 branch offices, 384 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, and other facilities, caters to more than 4.6 million customers. It plays a crucial role in Nepal's economy by facilitating remittances from a wide range of countries, contributing significantly to the nation's economic growth.
