Glocal After School is set to host the 6th Skill Week from January 6 to 13, 2025, aiming to equip youths and students with vital 21st-century skills. This event bridges the gap between academia and industry, focusing on Green Economy, Sustainable Ecosystems, and International Connectivity.
Key highlights include the Skill Fest on January 10 at Embark College, Pulchowk, offering interactive stalls, workshops, job opportunities, and engaging activities. The event also features roundtable discussions on industry-academia interaction on January 12 and the CEO Unplugged Forum on January 13, themed "Today Meets Tomorrow." The closing ceremony will present the Skill Hero Awards, recognizing individuals excelling in Art & Culture, Tourism & Hospitality, Science & Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
The event is supported by Embark College, endorsed by CNI and Nepal Chamber of Commerce, and promoted by Nepal Tourism Board. Strategic partners include the EU, Embassy of India, and Australian Embassy, with corporate support from Honda, Coca-Cola, WWF, and others.
