Gold and Silver Prices Rise in the Local Market

The prices of gold and silver have witnessed an upward trend in the local market. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has increased by NPR 900 per tola, while silver has gone up by NPR 10 per tola.

As per today's updated rates, fine gold is being traded at NPR 170,400 per tola, up from Tuesday’s price of NPR 169,500 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver has reached NPR 1,950 per tola in today’s trading.

Meanwhile, in the international market, gold is currently being traded at approximately USD 2,911 per ounce. The rise in gold and silver prices in Nepal is in line with global trends, where fluctuations in demand and economic factors continue to influence the precious metals market.
