Gold Breaks Previous All-Time High Record; Gains Rs 1,000 Per Tola to Trade at Rs 1,53,400
The gold market in Nepal hit a new high on September 11, 2024, with significant price increases.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has risen to Rs. 1,53,400 per tola, up from Rs. 1,52,400 per tola the previous day.
Tejabi gold has also seen an increase, now priced at Rs. 1,52,700 per tola, a rise of Rs. 1,000 from yesterday’s Rs. 1,51,700 per tola.
This follows a recent peak in fine gold prices, which reached Rs. 1,53,300 per tola on September 6, 2024, highlighting the market's volatility.
Silver prices have also gone up, climbing by Rs. 15 per tola to Rs. 1,780, compared to Rs. 1,765 per tola yesterday.
While domestic trends show an upward trajectory, global economic conditions continue to impact prices. Internationally, gold is trading at $2,520.10 per ounce, with silver at $28.46 per ounce.
