Gold Breaks Previous All-Time High Record; Gains Rs 1,700 Per Tola to Trade at Rs 1,39,200

Nepal's gold market has surged to unprecedented heights, reaching an all-time peak on April 16, 2024.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association reports a staggering Rs. 1,700 increase, propelling the price of fine gold to an extraordinary rate of Rs. 1,39,200 per tola, up from its previous mark of Rs. 1,37,500.

Simultaneously, Tejabi gold, another highly coveted variant, has also experienced a surge, now valued at Rs. 1,38,550 per tola, marking a consecutive rise of Rs. 1,700 from its previous rate of Rs. 1,36,850.

The momentum culminated on April 12th, 2024, witnessing a historic pinnacle for fine gold at an all-time high of Rs. 1,39,000 per tola, accompanied by silver achieving a record high of Rs. 1,750.

Continuing this trend, the price of silver has also surged. Currently priced at Rs. 1,750 per tola, silver saw a Rs. 35 increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,715 per tola.

While the domestic market experiences an upward trajectory in prices, the international market's influence remains significant. The latest update indicates the current gold rate stands at $2,383.60 per ounce. Internationally, silver maintains stability, with prices holding at $28.86 per ounce.
