Gold Hits All-Time High Record Again; Gains Rs 2,100 Per Tola in Single Day, Trading Today at Rs. 1,30,000
Back to back, the gold market in Nepal has witnessed an extraordinary surge, hitting a new all-time high today on March 29, 2024.
The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders' Association reported a remarkable single-day increase of Rs. 2,100, propelling the price of fine gold to an exceptional rate of Rs. 1,30,000 per tola, up from its previous rate of Rs. 1,27,900.
Similarly, Tejabi gold, another highly coveted variant, has experienced a significant rise, now valued at Rs. 1,29,400 per tola, marking a consecutive increase from its previous rate of Rs. 1,27,300.
Just a day prior, fine gold reached an unprecedented peak at Rs. 1,27,900 per tola, marking a historic milestone.
In line with this trend, the price of silver has also surged. Currently priced at 1,525 rupees per tola, silver saw a 15 rupee increase from the previous day's rate of Rs. 1,510 per tola.
While the domestic market is observing an upward trend in prices, the international market is equally influential. As of the latest update, the current gold rate stands at $2,233.00 per ounce. Internationally, silver is also witnessing positive momentum, with prices reaching $24.94 per ounce.
