Gold Loses Rs. 1,000 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,740

The cost of gold has decreased by Rs. 700 per tola.

According to the recent report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), Fine gold is presently trading at Rs. 137,400 per tola, Rs. 700 down from the previous closing rate of Rs. 138,100 per tola.

Similarly, Tejabi gold now stands at Rs. 136,750 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 700 decline from its previous day's closing price of Rs. 137,450 per tola.

The peak surge occurred on April 19th, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 139,300 per tola.

In addition, the price of silver has risen by Rs. 25 per tola, updating the current price to Rs. 1,740 per tola, from Rs. 1,715 per tola the previous day.

Both local and global markets have seen a reduction in precious metal prices. The most recent figures show the global gold rate at $2,344.30 per ounce, while internationally, silver prices are showing an upward trend, currently priced at $28.43 per ounce.
