Gold Loses Rs. 1,200 Per Tola Today, Silver Trading at Rs. 1,815
The Nepali gold market has witnessed a significant decline, with the price of fine gold dropping by Rs. 1,200 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the current price of fine gold is Rs. 149,300 per tola, a reduction from the previous rate of Rs. 150,500 per tola.
Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold has also decreased by Rs. 1,200, now standing at Rs. 148,600 per tola, compared to the previous rate of Rs. 149,800 per tola.
This sharp decline follows a record high on October 31, 2024, when fine gold was priced at Rs. 171,000 per tola.
In addition to gold, silver prices have experienced a slight dip, dropping by Rs. 25 per tola. The current price of silver is Rs. 1,815 per tola, down from Rs. 1,840 the previous day.
