Gold Loses Rs. 1,500 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,780
The fine gold market has recently experienced a significant adjustment, seeing prices decrease by Rs. 800 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 1,40,800 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,41,600 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have also dropped to Rs. 1,40,100 per tola, marking a decrease of Rs. 800 from its earlier price of Rs. 1,40,900 per tola.
This decline comes after a recent peak on June 7, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,45,000 per tola.
In addition, the price of silver has decreased by Rs. 10 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,780 per tola, down from Rs. 1,790 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets are witnessing this downward trend, with global gold prices at $2,300.40 per ounce and silver prices at $28.68 per ounce, indicating negative momentum in the silver market.
