Gold Loses Rs. 1,600 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,815
The fine gold market has experienced a notable shift, with prices decreasing by Rs. 500 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 151,900 per tola, reflecting a Rs. 500 reduction from its previous rate of Rs. 152,400 per tola.
Tejabi gold has similarly seen a price drop, now valued at Rs. 150,700 per tola, a Rs. 500 decrease from the earlier closing price of Rs. 151,200 per tola.
This decrease follows the recent peak on August 21, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 153,000 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have dropped by Rs. 15 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,815 per tola, down from Rs. 1,830 per tola the previous day.
This downward trend in prices is evident both domestically and internationally. Globally, gold is currently priced at $2,494.30 per ounce, while silver continues its decline, now valued at $29.27 per ounce.
