Gold Loses Rs. 2,000 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 1,47,500; Silver Down by Rs. 30
The fine gold market has experienced a notable shift, with prices decreasing by Rs. 2,000 per tola.
According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now valued at Rs. 147,500 per tola, down from its previous closing rate of Rs. 149,500 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also seen a price drop, currently priced at Rs. 146,800 per tola, a reduction of Rs. 2,000 from its earlier closing price of Rs. 149,800 per tola. This decrease follows a peak on July 17, 2024, when fine gold hit an all-time high of Rs. 149,800 per tola.
Additionally, the price of silver has fallen by Rs. 30 per tola, with the current market rate at Rs. 1,830 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,860 per tola.
This downward trend is reflected both domestically and internationally. Globally, gold is priced at $2,424.00 per ounce, while silver has seen a decline, now trading at $29.51 per ounce.
