Gold Loses Rs. 300 Per Tola Today, Silver Trading at Rs. 1,775
The fine gold market has experienced a significant shift, with prices falling by Rs. 300 per tola.
As per the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 152,000 per tola, marking a Rs. 300 decrease from its previous rate of Rs. 152,300 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also seen a reduction, with its price now at Rs. 151,300 per tola, down Rs. 300 from the earlier closing rate of Rs. 151,600 per tola.
This price drop follows the recent peak on August 21, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 153,000 per tola.
Furthermore, silver prices have decreased by Rs. 20 per tola, with the current rate at Rs. 1,775 per tola, down from Rs. 1,795 per tola the previous day.
This decline in prices is observed both domestically and internationally. Globally, gold is currently trading at $2,495.40 per ounce, while silver continues to drop, now valued at $28.39 per ounce.
