Gold Loses Rs. 3,700 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,710
The fine gold market has experienced a significant shift, with prices dropping by Rs. 1,400 per tola.
According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is currently valued at Rs. 146,300 per tola, marking a Rs. 1,400 decrease from its previous closing rate of Rs. 147,700 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold has also seen a price reduction, now standing at Rs. 145,600 per tola, down by Rs. 1,400 from its closing price of Rs. 147,000 per tola the previous day.
This decline follows the recent peak on August 5, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 150,000 per tola.
Furthermore, the price of silver has also dropped, with a decrease of Rs. 15 per tola. The current market rate for silver stands at Rs. 1,710 per tola, compared to yesterday's closing rate of Rs. 1,725 per tola.
Both domestic and international markets reflect this downward trend in prices. Globally, the latest update indicates the price of gold at $2,392.60 per ounce, while silver is experiencing negative momentum, with prices reaching $27.10 per ounce.
