Gold Loses Rs. 400 Per Tola In Last Two Days; Silver at Rs. 1,820

The fine gold market has undergone a notable shift, with prices dropping by Rs. 400 per tola over the past two days.

According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has decreased to Rs. 152,200 per tola, down Rs. 100 from the previous rate of Rs. 152,300 per tola.

Tejabi gold has also experienced a price reduction, now set at Rs. 151,500 per tola, a drop of Rs. 100 from the previous closing price of Rs. 151,600 per tola.

This decline follows a peak on August 18, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 152,600 per tola.

In contrast, silver prices have seen a slight increase of Rs. 10 per tola, now standing at Rs. 1,820 per tola, up from Rs. 1,810 per tola the previous day.

This downward trend in gold prices is evident both domestically and internationally. Globally, gold is currently trading at $2,501.10 per ounce, while silver prices have risen to $29.29 per ounce.
