Gold Loses Rs. 500 Per Tola Today, Silver Trading at Rs. 1,980
The fine gold market has experienced a notable shift, with prices dropping by Rs. 500 per tola.
According to the latest update from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 160,500 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 161,000 per tola.
Tejabi gold has also declined, with its price now at Rs. 159,800 per tola, a Rs. 500 reduction from the earlier rate of Rs. 160,300 per tola.
This decrease comes after a recent peak on October 4, 2024, when fine gold reached a record high of Rs. 161,300 per tola.
Additionally, silver prices have fallen by Rs. 5 per tola, with the current rate at Rs. 1,980 per tola, compared to Rs. 1,985 the previous day.
The decline in prices is reflected both domestically and internationally, with gold trading globally at $2,643.00 per ounce, and silver now valued at $31.94 per ounce.
