Gold Loses Rs. 600 Per Tola to Trade at Rs. 1,42,200; Silver Down by Rs. 20
The fine gold market has recently seen a significant adjustment, with prices declining by Rs. 600 per tola.
According to the latest report from the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is valued at Rs. 1,42,200 per tola, down from its previous rate of Rs. 1,42,800 per tola.
Similarly, Tejabi gold prices have also dropped to Rs. 1,41,500 per tola, reflecting a decrease of Rs. 600 from its earlier price of Rs. 1,42,100 per tola.
This reduction follows a recent peak on June 7, 2024, when fine gold reached an all-time high of Rs. 1,45,000 per tola.
Additionally, the price of silver has decreased by Rs. 20 per tola, with the current market rate standing at Rs. 1,800 per tola, down from Rs. 1,820 per tola previously.
Both domestic and international markets are observing this downward trend, with global gold prices at $2,321.10 per ounce and silver prices at $29.16 per ounce, indicating negative momentum in the silver market.
